Bare Acts - A refresher and revision - 02-01-2021 22-47-56
As the new year dawns, it is time to perform a basic rehash of certain Bare Acts.
A good way to refresh our knowledge of law is to regularly peruse the Bare Acts which in turn would inculcate in us, the ability to fathom the intention and wisdom of the Legislature which enacted the laws.
As a corollary and next step, it is worthwhile to reflect upon the leading caselaw and Judicial precedents which are appropriate to the respective Bare Act (or section within the Act).
